Horse and Pony Paddock Seed Mix - Specially designed for horse and pony grazing. The addition of smooth stalk meadow grass ensures grazing all year round, even on stress-prone sites. The mix does not contain any high-sugar grasses which can increase the risk of laminitis. If left, a modest hay cut could also be taken. 13kg will give you 1 acre of coverage. Spreading Rate: 13kg per acre (new seeding), 7kg per acre (overseeding). Suitable for all year round application. Do not treat for weeds until grass is older than 6 months old.

Diamond Horse Tail Weed Killer 1L Faster acting than glyphosate alone. Controls tough weeds such as nettle, ragwort, horsetail and many other broad-leaved weeds which are difficult to kill with straight glyphosate. Full Description Diamond is a brand new product exclusive to Ransley Pro Grow which offers excellent results on many tough annual and perennial weeds including horsetail. It is a soluble concentrate containing 160g/L 2,4-D + 240g/L glyphosate. As well as treating weeds such as bindweed and ragwort, Diamond is one of the few products on the market that will successfully control horsetail. Previous products containing glufosinate-ammonium used to control this difficult weed are no longer permitted for sale in the U.K making Diamond the go to product following its launch in spring 2019. Often seen in spring and summer, horsetail (otherwise known as marestail) is an extremely invasive perennial weed with deep roots. If left untreated horsetail will spread at a fast rate and crowd flower beds, borders, lawns and patios. Diamond is approved for use on amenity vegetation, orchards, hard surfaces (railway ballast), and green cover not being used for crop production. After application the 2,4 - D will break down leaf tissue which enables the glyphosate to translocate around the plant far quicker and deeper. It will deliver total weed control to both grasses and broad-leaved weeds, controlling them swiftly and penetrating deeper into the root system than glyphosate alone. For increased results, mix with Activate-g 1L to penetrate waxy & hairy leaves. 16-16-16 Nutrigrow Triple-16 Fertiliser 20kg Ideal for treating grass that is going to be grazed or made into hay. Very flexible- contains balanced levels of three macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphate and potassium). Full Description Nutrigrow 16-16-16 (or Triple 16) is a quality NPK fertiliser which offers a balanced feed. Triple 16 can be used as a standard treatment for feeding grass which will be grazed or used to make hay. It is one of the most flexible blends of fertiliser we offer as it delivers the same amount of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium. This balanced formulation can be particularly useful if you are treating areas slightly deficient in phosphate or potassium, as you are also delivering nitrogen which will be needed to promote top growth. The application rate will depend on how many times you apply the product, and also what the grass is going to be used for. For a general feed, we recommend 60-100kg per acre. If you require a product with a higher level of nitrogen, then consider 20-10-10 Fertiliser. If you require a fertiliser with no nitrogen, then consider looking at 0-24-24. This product is also available in a 600kg Bulk Bag. Understanding Fertiliser Analysis: Under the metric system, the unit of measurement is a kg. Recommendations are given in kg/ha. A fertiliser with the analysis 16:16:16 contains: 16% nitrogen, 16% phosphate, 16% potassium. So in a 20kg bag: 16% of the 20kg is nitrogen i.e. 3.2kg N, 16% of the 20kg is phosphate i.e. 3.2kg P, 16% of the 20kg is potassium i.e. 3.2kg K. Pre Seeder 6-9-6 contains a low, balanced amount of nutrients which will help avoid any scorch to young & tender grass as it slowly releases over a 6-week period. The combination of the 3 macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphate and potassium) help plants grow healthily and produce a higher crop yield. Each of the macronutrients have their own benefits; nitrogen aids with photosynthesis, phosphate helps plants convert other nutrients into usable building blocks with which to grow and potassium regulates CO2 uptake during photosynthesis. Understanding Fertiliser Analysis: Under the metric system the unit of measurement is a kg. Recommendations are given in kg/ha.
