16-16-16 Nutrigrow Triple-16 Fertiliser 20kg

16-16-16 Nutrigrow Triple-16 Fertiliser 20kg Ideal for treating grass that is going to be grazed or made into hay. Very flexible- contains balanced levels of three macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphate and potassium). Full Description Nutrigrow 16-16-16 (or Triple 16) is a quality NPK fertiliser which offers a balanced feed. Triple 16 can be used as a standard treatment for feeding grass which will be grazed or used to make hay. It is one of the most flexible blends of fertiliser we offer as it delivers the same amount of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium. This balanced formulation can be particularly useful if you are treating areas slightly deficient in phosphate or potassium, as you are also delivering nitrogen which will be needed to promote top growth. The application rate will depend on how many times you apply the product, and also what the grass is going to be used for. For a general feed, we recommend 60-100kg per acre. If you require a product with a higher level of nitrogen, then consider 20-10-10 Fertiliser. If you require a fertiliser with no nitrogen, then consider looking at 0-24-24. This product is also available in a 600kg Bulk Bag. Understanding Fertiliser Analysis: Under the metric system, the unit of measurement is a kg. Recommendations are given in kg/ha. A fertiliser with the analysis 16:16:16 contains: 16% nitrogen, 16% phosphate, 16% potassium. So in a 20kg bag: 16% of the 20kg is nitrogen i.e. 3.2kg N, 16% of the 20kg is phosphate i.e. 3.2kg P, 16% of the 20kg is potassium i.e. 3.2kg K. Our Recommendation Always read the product label before use. Do not graze until all fertiliser prills have completely dissolved, typically 2-3 days. If you are looking for a liquid fertiliser, look at Nutri-gem Liquid. Improve the pH of your soil by applying Granulated Lime. View our range of Walk Behind, Towable and Mounted Fertiliser Spreaders. After this product, in a bigger bag? We also have Triple 16 in a 600kg bulk bag. Consider over-seeding with Paddock Grass Seed to help to fill out any bare or thin patches. Thrust Selective Weed Killer 5L

Thrust Selective Weed Killer 5L Highly effective on ragwort. Also offers control on broad-leaved weeds such as thistle, dock, plantain, soft rush and buttercups. Ideal for paddocks and pasture as it is safe for grass. Great value for money. Full Description Activate-G has been specially formulated to combine with the active ingredient of herbicides to improve their uptake into the plant. This is done in two ways, firstly by stopping the pesticide 'locking up' when used in areas of hard water and secondly by helping the chemical absorb into the plant using its unique 'uptake system'. Using Activate-G stops any loss of active ingredient as it is drawn into the plant rather than sitting on the surface and evaporating or running off. Mixing Activate-G with herbicides such as glyphosate and grassland products has significantly enhanced the speed and effectiveness of the kill. Typically, adding in this product increased the activity of herbicides by 7-10 days and helped reduce the time taken for the herbicide to dry on the leaf by several hours. This can be particularly helpful in times of poor weather conditions. In short, adding Activate-G enhances the effect of herbicides by around 25%. Using Activate-G can be very useful when trying to countrol tough, waxy plants, or when trying to penetrate large, dense foliage. For smaller areas, consider using the smaller pack of Activate-G 1L. Our Recommendation Always read the product label before use. Save time and money and mix in Blue Dye to ensure no areas are missed or overdosed. For great weed killing results mix in with a Glyphosate-based weedkiller such as Gallup 360. Always wear protective clothing, such as Chemical Resistant Gloves, when handling Activate-G. 6-9-6 Nutrigrow Pre-Seeder Fertiliser 20kg

6-9-6 Nutrigrow Pre-Seeder Fertiliser 20kg Pre Seeder 6-9-6 is a quality NPK fertiliser which is ideal for use on areas before or after seeding. Pre Seeder 6-9-6 contains a low, balanced amount of nutrients which will help avoid any scorch to young & tender grass as it slowly releases over a 6-week period. The combination of the 3 macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphate and potassium) help plants grow healthily and produce a higher crop yield. Each of the macronutrients have their own benefits; nitrogen aids with photosynthesis, phosphate helps plants convert other nutrients into usable building blocks with which to grow and potassium regulates CO2 uptake during photosynthesis. Understanding Fertiliser Analysis: Under the metric system the unit of measurement is a kg. Recommendations are given in kg/ha. A fertiliser with the analysis 6:9:6 contains: 6% nitrogen, 9% phosphate, 6% potassium. In a 20kg bag: 6% of the 20kg is nitrogen i.e. 1.5kg N, 9% of the 20kg is phosphate i.e. 2.25kg P, 6% of the 20kg is potassium i.e. 1.5kg K. Our Recommendation Always read the product label before use. For applying fertiliser over large areas look at our Pro Fertiliser Spreader. Improve the pH of your soil by applying Granulated Lime.
