Diamond Horse Tail Weed Killer
Diamond Horse Tail Weed Killer 1L Faster acting than glyphosate alone. Controls tough weeds such as nettle, ragwort, horsetail and many other broad-leaved weeds which are difficult to kill with straight glyphosate. Grassland destruction recommendation giving improved and quicker control of weeds such as docks. Fast action- one application for target weeds. Extended weed spectrum to manage tough to control weeds like thistles, oilseed rape and grasses. Use less glyphosate per hectare- you can reduce by half the amount of glyphosate per hectare with the same result. Safe formulation for trees in orchards. Full Description Diamond is a brand new product exclusive to Ransley Pro Grow which offers excellent results on many tough annual and perennial weeds including horsetail. It is a soluble concentrate containing 160g/L 2,4-D + 240g/L glyphosate. As well as treating weeds such as bindweed and ragwort, Diamond is one of the few products on the market that will successfully control horsetail. Previous products containing glufosinate-ammonium used to control this difficult weed are no longer permitted for sale in the U.K making Diamond the go to product following its launch in spring 2019. Often seen in spring and summer, horsetail (otherwise known as marestail) is an extremely invasive perennial weed with deep roots. If left untreated horsetail will spread at a fast rate and crowd flower beds, borders, lawns and patios. Diamond is approved for use on amenity vegetation, orchards, hard surfaces (railway ballast), and green cover not being used for crop production. After application the 2,4 - D will break down leaf tissue which enables the glyphosate to translocate around the plant far quicker and deeper. It will deliver total weed control to both grasses and broad-leaved weeds, controlling them swiftly and penetrating deeper into the root system than glyphosate alone. For increased results, mix with Activate-g 1L to penetrate waxy & hairy leaves. 6-9-6 Nutrigrow Pre-Seeder Fertiliser 20kg
6-9-6 Nutrigrow Pre-Seeder Fertiliser 20kg Pre Seeder 6-9-6 is a quality NPK fertiliser which is ideal for use on areas before or after seeding. Pre Seeder 6-9-6 contains a low, balanced amount of nutrients which will help avoid any scorch to young & tender grass as it slowly releases over a 6-week period. The combination of the 3 macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphate and potassium) help plants grow healthily and produce a higher crop yield. Each of the macronutrients have their own benefits; nitrogen aids with photosynthesis, phosphate helps plants convert other nutrients into usable building blocks with which to grow and potassium regulates CO2 uptake during photosynthesis. Understanding Fertiliser Analysis: Under the metric system the unit of measurement is a kg. Recommendations are given in kg/ha. A fertiliser with the analysis 6:9:6 contains: 6% nitrogen, 9% phosphate, 6% potassium. In a 20kg bag: 6% of the 20kg is nitrogen i.e. 1.5kg N, 9% of the 20kg is phosphate i.e. 2.25kg P, 6% of the 20kg is potassium i.e. 1.5kg K. Our Recommendation Always read the product label before use. For applying fertiliser over large areas look at our Pro Fertiliser Spreader. Improve the pH of your soil by applying Granulated Lime. Nutrigrow Elemental Sulphur 25kg
Nutrigrow Elemental Sulphur 25kg Increases crop yield, quality and profitability. Corrects pH level of soil when used at higher rates. Can be used as a preventative treatment for worm casts. Provides and releases calcium in plants. Please note packaging & percentage of sulphur may vary slightly. Full Description Nutrigrow Sulphur is a granular product containing 90% elemental sulphur and 10% bentonite clay. It can be used at low rates simply to deliver sulphur to the crop or at higher rates to correct the soil pH. Sulphur breaks down and washes into the soil rapidly but requires warm soils to become useable to the plant. This is a granular product which is suitable for hand or machine spreading; it can be incorporated into the soil or left to dissolve on the surface. This product is available in a 25kg or 600kg pack size. At the rates that sulphur is applied for nutritional purposes, the effect on soil pH would be slight; however, in certain circumstances, it is beneficial to lower the pH of soil, for example when establishing heather (or other acid loving plants) and when attempting to reduce common scab in potatoes. Sulphur has also been extensively trialled for the reduction of worm casts in fine turf. We have seen excellent results when used at 100kg per ha every month for several months. This is a preventative treatment which pushes the worms deeper down. Sulphur compounds such as Nutrigrow Sulphur can also be used on soils to provide calcium or to release calcium that was previously insoluble. Nutrient deficiency is common on neutral soils, alkaline soils, or soils with excessive lime. Availability of essential nutrients is often lower due to the high pH of these soils. Temporary rectification of these issues can be achieved by foliar applications, however on small areas of land where crop production is intensive, it is the more practical, permanent, and advisable solution to reduce the pH of the soil, especially if it does not require significant lowering.
